At the tee, look at the shape of the hole. On the fairway, check hazards and the distance to the green. Near the green, use its outline to frame your approach. The aim is a calmer sequence of decisions, not an extra screen to study before every swing. No watch guarantees better scores, and the strongest feature list is only useful if your usual course is covered.
The 47 mm model has a 1.4-inch AMOLED touchscreen and more than 43,000 preloaded courses worldwide. CourseView mapping helps you understand the hole beyond a single distance number. Check your specific course and download relevant updates before heading out.
Virtual Caddie uses your club history and connected information. It requires five rounds with club data and uploaded scorecards, plus connection to the Garmin Golf app. A first-time owner should not expect fully personalized recommendations on the first tee.
Basic course maps and distances do not require the Green Contours subscription. Slope information for select greens requires active Garmin Golf membership. Confirm both coverage and the current local subscription price inside Garmin's official purchase flow.
